We have been nominated in the category of Travel and Tourism Ecommerce Website of the Year at the 2023 UK Ecommerce Awards, as well as receiving a nomination for the Charity Trading Award at the 2023 Direct Commerce Awards.
Over the years, the Williams Commerce team has been privileged to work with a number of esteemed institutions. And in the world of art, few institutions are regarded as highly as the National Gallery.
Located in London’s Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery is home to paintings from the 13th century through to the early 20th century, including works by Monet, Raphael and Rembrandt.
In mid-2021, The National Gallery Global Limited approached Williams Commerce to develop a new online shop for the organisation built on the Adobe Commerce platform.
Following 10 months of hard work and several stages of release, we were delighted to launch a new ecommerce website for the National Gallery in the middle of last year.
The new website project included complex API integration with the National Gallery’s Tessitura ticketing platform, as well as Dynamics 365 Business Central for managing core data and Print-on-Demand services via bespoke prints supplier and fulfilment partner, King & McGaw.
The current holder of the Travel and Tourism Ecommerce Website of the Year award at the UK Ecommerce Awards is our sister agency Un.titled, who won at the 2022 event for their work with The Courtauld.
Additionally, Williams Commerce triumphed in the Education & Training Products category last year for our work with CityLit.
The 2023 Direct Commerce Awards take place on the 17th October 2023, while the 2023 UK Ecommerce Awards take place on the 2nd November 2023. We will keep you posted on how we get on!
