With over 30 years of experience producing medals, military commemoratives and gifts, as well as personalised products, Award Medals needed a new, contemporary website to better reflect the company’s ethos.
They partnered with Magento Solutions Partner, Williams Commerce, for a new website to be built on Magento Open Source.

Award Medals’ new website also features integration with the Khaos control system, via a Flint Technology module. After completing the sections needed on the product page, the fully populated products then can be added to basket and when the order is placed, this seamlessly goes into Khaos control to be processed.
In addition to this, SEO considerations were also taken into account. With 3 different types of commemorative medals available to purchase, our team of Magento developers has added the ability for users to switch medal pages by a simple tick box and then the correct type product will load with a unique url so these pages can all be individually crawled and ranked by search engines.

BioCare® launch new online destination on Magento Enterprise
BioCare® have over 30 years of experience in developing professional nutritional supplements made using innovative processes, stringent quality controls and only the highest quality ingredients. The supplement specialists teamed up with Williams Commerce to create a new and improved online destination for their customers, retailers and practitioners on Magento Enterprise , their ecommerce platform of choice.
Complex functionality for seamless navigation
Featuring a modern design with wide tiles and large images, the website can easily showcase the extensive range of BioCare® supplements which are available to buy online 24/7. The new website was also built to allow access for three different types of customers who can register – consumers, practitioners and retailers, as well as featuring a different interface for users who are logged in compared to the layout seen by non-logged in visitors.
Custom pricing tiers were implemented per account code, as well as Barclays payment methods, whilst the full NAV integration contributes towards easier website management.
Custom UX design
Whilst most of the website takes advantage of Magento’s built-in rich functionality, custom UX design was created for certain pages and the ecommerce portal also features a sticky header and footer for improved usability.
More than just an ecommerce store
In addition to the seamless functionality, the upgraded search that allows users to find the products they need quick and easy, and the ability to shop on the go from their mobile devices, the new website is filled with rich resources.
Consumers can keep up to date with the latest insights from the supplements and health industry by reading the BioCare® blog, or browsing the Health Notes which were integrated with the website via an iframe. Practitioners and retailers can also access the Professional Education section once logged in, which features exclusive resources including webinars, videos, clinical protocols, product information and more.
