Williams Commerce were delighted to re-launch an exciting new website for Valentina Fine Foods, built on Magento Community Edition, that now effectively showcases their stunning collection of Italian food and drinks.
With over 25 years of experience providing Italians living in the UK, as well as Italians at heart with truly authentic Italian cuisine in their restaurants and delicatessens, Valentina was ready to revamp their online shop and create an exciting new destination for their customers, bringing together the offline and online sides of the business.
Valentina Fine Foods chose Magento Enterprise Solutions Partner, Williams Commerce, to help them achieve this and build a brand new ecommerce website on the powerful Magento 2.0 platform which combines performance and a sleek custom design with rich functionality.
The new revamped website offers visitors ultra wide screen design for high impact on big screens and beautiful photography housed in a tiled design that enables Valentina Fine Foods to effectively showcase their extensive categories of Italian food and drink.
From the home page, visitors can locate and book their nearest restaurant, shop directly by categories via the icon driven Shop By functionality and access key categories like hampers, specials of the month, recipes and loyalty cards from visual tiles above the footer.
The hidden menus offered for customer service in the footer, enables the website to achieve a streamlined header and footer effect, freeing up valuable real estate for marketing messages, with all customer service ‘housekeeping’ elements accessible at one click.
Whilst the website serves the purpose to cater to visitors for browsing and shopping online for their favourite Italian fine foods and ingredients (not to mention the award winning panettone), Valentina customers can also book reservations at their favourite Valentina restaurant or find location details for their nearest Valentina delicatessen, view the menus online and get all the details they need such as location, opening times, special offers, with ease.
The website also allows users to sign up to the Valentina Rewards Card which can be used to collect points for every £1 spend in any one of the Valentina’s restaurants, delis or bars which can then be used for future purchases. Last, but not least, website visitors can also take advantage of the blog and social media channels available to learn more about Italian food and recipes.
Robert Williams, Managing Director of Williams Commerce, said “We worked very closely with the team at Valentina, to make sure the website design now better reflects their brand and heritage and has the functionality to offer a streamlined user-friendly experience online. The website integration with RCS helps improve efficiency for the day to day order management, and enables the website to display real time stock levels.”
