As a graduate ecommerce business analyst you will be working as a bridge between customers and delivery teams to understand requirements and business needs. You’ll like talking to people about what their company does and how we can help them build a better website. You’ll be willing to learn all about ecommerce platforms like Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, and Shopify and put that knowledge to the test by writing requirement documents, user stories, and presentations.

This role is a busy, active role where you will be challenged every day to push your boundaries but is rewarding in the knowledge and experience you will gain as every project will teach you something.

 

What you will be doing

  • Monitor Project Progress - closely monitor each project you manage to ensure projects remain on track, meet deadlines, stay under budget, and develop according to plan.
  • Report Project Results - in conjunction with the lead, you will gather and document all project results and report or present them to the appropriate parties. This usually includes clients and upper-level management. You will report on the success of the project and any setbacks that were encountered or room for improvement.
  • Meeting notes and action taking of client meetings.
  • After training, help do holiday cover with clients and act as their point of contact.
  • After training, you would be expected to take on your own project to manage.
  • Create Project Plans - develop concrete, detailed plans for a project, including the schedule, the budget, outlining the duties of each team member, identifying project goals, and setting a timeline for the project. Collaborate with various teams and hold meetings to develop project plans and present them to upper-level management before starting the project.
  • Assist Senior/Project Managers on the project, including clerical duties, maintain contact with clients and parties involved through email and phone calls, answer questions and concerns, prepare presentations, and enter project data.
