Integration Architect

This is an opportunity to join a specialist eCommerce website developer and system integrator providing ecommerce, software development, marketing and technology services. We are looking for a person to join our consultancy team who can specialise in supporting our system integration development. All of our ecommerce projects feature some form of integration, and this role will work with varied clients and platforms to run workshops, document required integration architectures, and prepare functional requirements for developers

The analyst will be involved early in projects to work with the client to understand their technical and business needs and will then also be required to support the project team during the build to ensure the correct development approach is taken.

Job Description...

  • You have strong ecommerce skills and understand how at least one major platform (Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Shopify preferred) works and integrates to other platforms
  • You have solid technical skills – you probably have a development background – and have worked with services and integrations before
  • You are a confident communicator and can run workshops with senior stakeholders from client teams, and associated third parties
  • You have good documentation skills and can prepare content for both business and technical audiences


  • Required – hands-on experience of at least one major ecommerce platform (Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Shopify, or VTEX preferred)
  • Required – experience of working with integration solutions; either technical development skills with services or prior integration architecture experience
  • Required – knowledge of one or more ‘back office’ systems such as Microsoft D365
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience of standard office packages such as excel
  • Experience of analysis skills such as requirements gathering, understanding of software development life cycle
  • Good knowledge of ecommerce (products, orders, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to document business and technical requirements without support
  • Able to assist in trouble-shooting issues when they arise in integration development

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
