Business Analyst

This is an opportunity to join a specialist eCommerce website developer and system integrator providing ecommerce, software development, marketing and technology services. We help our customers build and transform their Ecommerce businesses worldwide. Flexible working is supported, with a split between work from home and time in the office. This position is not fully remote.

Job Description...

· You have 2-3 years’ experience of working as a business analyst or consultant within ecommerce or a similar commercial field

· You have knowledge of platforms used within the ecommerce space and direct experience of working with one or more of these

· You enjoy working collaboratively with business and technical teams to understand the requirements for a solution and can express these requirements clearly

· You have good knowledge of common analysis methods and tools

· You have experience of both waterfall and agile project methodologies

· You can lead workshops with clients and colleagues in areas where you have strong skills such as customer experience or integration


· Good written and spoken communication skills

· Experience of standard office packages such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

· Experience of JIRA or equivalent tools

· Good working knowledge of ecommerce – both technically and commercially

· Preferred – some technical or business experience of the web (through development background, project experience, or website management)

· Experience working with at least one ecommerce platform such as Adobe Commerce, Shopify, or BigCommerce. Preferably including some training or certification

· Able to use analysis methods to define business and technical requirements by working directly with business stakeholders

· Able to document business and technical requirements using best practice approaches including user stories, requirements documents, and diagrams

· Able to define and implement testing needs

· Maintains awareness of trends in digital technology and can document this to support others

· Able to facilitate workshops and lead sessions as required

· Able to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders

Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
